Work...

To my dedicated reader (I think I have only one...), sorry it has been so long since I have posted something new. So, I will try to make up for it now.
On Monday we rotated floors at work, which means, I went from the psych floors (where I have been for the past 3 months), to the neuro floor. On the neuro floor, I am working with patients who have spinal cord injuries, strokes, brain bleeds, etc. It has been hard work moving around some of these patients who can't move themselves. By the end of the day I find that I am totally exhausted, only wanting to crawl into bed. When I heard that many pregnant women were tired all the time, I never knew what they were talking about, because I was doing a job where I got to sit all day. Now that I am up and moving around and moving patients around, my energy levels are depleted at the end of the day.
Last night I went to a bridal shower for a girl I work with. Tonight I have Achievement Days, and tomorrow night is the city's Easter Egg Hunt, which I plan on attending with Kam's family and a friend. It looks as if even though I am so tired at night, there will be no rest for me.
By the way tomorrow marks my 13th week, I am hoping to start feeling better soon!

Lisa, I hope you were only working in the psych ward and not a patient.

Lisa,
If you have to spend much more time on the psych floor, they may have to admit you as a patient!
