By now you should all know that the Utes went to the Sugar Bowl and beat the favored Alabama. During the opening of the game, Kam and I were sitting in a restaraunt here in Mississippi, and of course, were the only ones cheering for the Utes. We were totally out of place, but didn't care as we watched the Utes roll over Bama (as it is called here in Mississippi. I guess the word Alabama is too long, so they shorten it to Bama), scoring 3 TD's in the first half!
Kam got a little nervous there when Bama came back and scored, but the Utes held them off for the win. So in honor of the Utes, I am posting the words to the fight song.
I am a Utah Man, sir, and I live across the green,
Our gang it is the jolliest that you have ever seen.
Our coeds are the fairest and each one's a shining star,
Our yell, you'll hear it ringing through the mountains near and far!
Who am I, sir,
A Utah Man am I!
A Utah Man, sir,
Will be 'til I die.
We're up to snuff, we never bluff, we're game for any fuss.
No other gang of college men dare meet us in a muss.
So fill your lungs and sing it out and shout it to the sky,
We'll fight for dear old crimson for a Utah Man am I!
By the way, I will be posting pics from Christmas (this is for you Cailin), but don't be disappointed, we don't have many since we were all sick!
